Instax Slitscan at the Funfair

Three visits to the Kermis on the Malieveld.
First during daytime
Second at dusk
Third during the afternoon
The subjects are the same, but the lighting and sense in the photographs changes with each visit.

The slitscan camera is a very useful device to capture changes in space over time.
By rotating the camera (and changing the axis of space and time) the fast movement of the funfair turns into a mess of swirls and abstractions.

Time travels along the length of the instax.
The vertical instax captured a horizontal line.
The horizontal instax captured a vertical line. These are more readable, as it more closely follows the axis of the funfair ride’s motion.
